Consulting
Von Salmi and Associates, Inc. provides expert evaluation and problem solving services for any circumstance related to site, landscape, or building construction within the residential field. We cover everything from water penetration into the home interior to a failing landscape. We work methodically and thoughtfully to discover the cause of the problem and provide permanent solutions. If a subcontractor is required, we will assume a project management role, acting as your representative throughout the process.

Construction Forensics
We provide expert witness services through an investigative process for the purpose of providing professional evaluation of your site or building problem. Whether you require an evaluation or expert testimony of the problem, or if you are pursuing arbitration or litigation to resolve the issue, we offer the services that you require.

Scope Review
We provide services to designers and owners alike to review plans and offer suggestions for construction details that work. As the saying goes “The devil is in the details,” and those details can cost everyone unnecessary time and money if they are not properly considered — and executed.

We also provide field review services during construction to insure the quality of your project.

Owner Representation
We provide owner representation from initial concept through the final project close out. With our years of experience in the industry, we can relieve the pressure of the entire process by watching out for the owner’s interests respectfully and amicably. We ensure that priorities are maintained throughout the project and work to keep the team accountable for cost, quality, and schedule. This allows the owner to maximize their time and efforts in navigating the myriad of decisions that only they can make, while keeping the project moving towards successful completion.

Project Management
We provide project management services for residential construction projects. Our project manager will work with you to determine the proper level of services that you require. Those services may range from total project management (from inception through project completion) or selective segments of your project where you need expert assistance for only a brief phase.

Construction Management
This form of management requires detailed plans and specifications, including a careful outline of the project’s scope, which allows an accurate total cost estimate and ensures total oversight of your project. We will work closely with you to finalize all decisions prior to construction.
